Since 2010, Scambieuropei has operated as a leading educational and civic organization dedicated to personal development and professional growth.
Based in Bologna—a central hub for international education in Italy—the organization fosters active participation through non-formal learning. By collaborating with schools, universities, public bodies, and European NGOs, Scambieuropei designs innovative tools and implements local and international projects that enhance professional skills and civic engagement.
To increase active citizenship and participation, the organisation promotes EU projects, youth exchanges and volunteering to directly engage young people and activate them. Scambieuropei’s projects include among others:
- Green Youth Employability (GYE): aiming to structure a learning and orientation path for young people based on NFE in emerging green jobs
- YISEM: a project focusing on digital entrepreneurship to create a community of young people who can build a better and more inclusive world
- Youth is EU: through creating videos, podcasts and a call for ideas, the project aims to increase youth participation in the democratic process
- Scambieuropei has created various podcasts, informing about Bologna, the city’s faces and the associations that make it vibrant
